Unlike many other resorts on the eastern coast of yacht charter Mallorca which were at first fishing villages, Calas de Mallorca was purposely built for modern tourism approximately 70km from Palma. Despite this fact, the resort can be considered a quiet one, which is better suited as a base for explorations of the eastern coast of the island.

This resort in yacht charter Mallorca is located on the southwestern shore of the island, and together with Andratx and Sant Elm, constitute the main touristic developments in the region. The main attraction here would have to be the lack of commercial development in town, which is uncharacteristic for the other resorts on Mallorca’s south shore.

The small resort of Porto Cristo is located on the eastern shore of yacht charter Mallorca island, approximately 65km from Palma, being part of the municipal district of Manacor. It’s not generally considered a top tier holiday resort on the island, but it does have the Mallorcan charm plus the bonus of not having a lot of tourists in the high season.

A natural coast, an old town full of history, as well as excellent restaurants make Portocolom the perfect home base for a few-days-harbour-stay.
