This is the 27th event in the Oyster Regatta series and this year a record fleet of 30 Oyster boats from all over the world have gathered on the shores of yacht charter Mallorca to participate in this regatta. There are boats from as far off as Brazil or South Africa but there are also from closer countries such as Germany, Holland, Italy, Russia or Switzerland.

Global Ocean Race Opens in Mallorca
The 2011-2012 edition of the Global Ocean Race opened this year in Race Village, yacht charter Palma and was attended by a host of famous people from the industry such as GOR Race Director, Josh Hall, Tolo Frau, head of the event’s commercial division in Palma, Jaime Martinez, Director of Balearics Tourism and Javier Bonet, Director of Tourism in Palma de Mallorca.
